Celebrating 100 years since its creation, ANUGA 2019 International Food and Beverage Exhibition, taking place these days in Cologne, Germany, has proven not only its strong power in the industry, but also its value as a global platform for showcasing the latest word in the food industry. The success of this event was highlighted by 7590 participants from all over the world, with 300 of them being Greek food and beverage production and marketing companies that either independently or through collective booths had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the visitors and present the whole range of branded Greek food products. It is one of the leading trade fairs, which during the years of crisis was a springboard for extroversion for the Greek food industry. For one more year, Cretan Mill S.A., member of the Almpantakis Group of Companies, one of the most dynamically developing companies in the olive oil sector at local and international level, participated in the exhibition, through the GREAT GREEK EXPORTS AND TRADE organization.
Strengthening its outward-looking stance and following its strategic plan for the development of its export activity, it held meetings aimed at contacting the buying public, creating new partnerships and renewing existing ones. At the same time, all visitors had the opportunity to taste the award-winning olive oils of the Cretan company and to get to know its new products. The aim of Cretan Mill is to provide continuous information in order to raise awareness about olive oil and its beneficial properties in nutrition.
